Samesh Kumari, a retired fashion firm owner, received one of the largest shares, totaling £249,999 ($328,000), as he held three tickets. He subscribed to the lottery in memory of his late mother, Chanchal Kumari, just four months prior to the win.
"I think mum would be really proud," Samesh said. "I'm not sure I did, but she was right. I've only been playing for about four months. To have won so quickly is amazing. When I signed up, I was thinking about mum. This is extra special."
