Celebrity Traitors winner Alan Carr joked that he might be the father of Paloma Faith’s unborn child, following his on-screen “murder” of the singer during the show’s first episode. Despite the dramatic moment, both stars have expressed that there are no hard feelings.
The musician revealed last month that she is expecting her third child. Carr, who went on to win the tense finale of the hit series, recalled the scene during an appearance on the Celebrity Traitors official visual podcast, Uncloaked.
“It was so awful, it really hurt,”
he said, describing the difficulty of turning on his friend.
“I am so sorry, you know I am,”
he told Faith directly before adding a playful twist to the story:
“I want to tell everyone that I am the father of her unborn child. We had a make up hug and one thing led to another.”
Faith, who was watching the podcast from the audience, took the joke in stride.
“I have been known to turn people and it was an enjoyable experience for both of us,”
she quipped with a smile before confirming there were no hard feelings.
“Observing tonight and going through my whole plethora of hormonal emotions, I feel like the reason Alan won and I was so sad was we all love him so much.”
Alan Carr turned a lighthearted moment on Celebrity Traitors into a playful joke about Paloma Faith’s pregnancy, showing their genuine friendship beyond the show.
