Adelaide Metro will provide free transport across all buses, trains, and trams from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 8. The initiative is designed to make it easier for families to reach the National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant and return home safely.
The 2025 free travel program returns to support South Australians attending one of the state’s most cherished annual celebrations. The Christmas Pageant, recognized as the largest public street parade in the Southern Hemisphere, drew more than 300,000 visitors last year.
“Adelaide Metro is so pleased to provide free public transport to help children and families get to the city for the National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant,” said Adelaide Metro spokesperson Michelle Spagnoletti. “We’ll have additional services running on the day, so hop on board and leave the car at home.”
The initiative highlights the city’s commitment to community spirit and convenience during the holiday season, ensuring families can enjoy the event without parking concerns or traffic stress.
Adelaide Metro enables free travel on November 8 to help families reach the Christmas Pageant, offering extra services and prioritizing safe, stress-free access to the beloved event.
