Actor Jacob Elordi, known for his role in Frankenstein, stars in a new Bottega Veneta fashion campaign photographed by the acclaimed Duane Michals. The collaboration marks another artistic venture for the Italian luxury brand.
The photoshoot took place in Michals’s Gramercy Park apartment, where the 93-year-old photographer captured Elordi in black-and-white compositions surrounded by flowers, feathers, twisted branches, and reflective surfaces—elements typical of Michals’s surreal style.
The resulting series, accompanied by a behind-the-scenes short film, premieres as part of Bottega Veneta’s campaign titled “What Are Dreams”. Elordi, who became the brand’s ambassador in 2024, appears seated in a rocking chair while reciting a poem by Michals.
“It is our enigmatic fate that we must dream in time and wait,”
Elordi’s voice is heard over soft piano music, creating a meditative and poetic mood that blends literature, photography, and fashion into one reflective narrative.
This campaign fuses Jacob Elordi’s quiet performance with Duane Michals’s poetic imagery, forming an introspective union of art and style that feels both timeless and dreamlike.
