Jeremy Renner's filmmaking partner, Chinese director Yi Zhou, 37, has publicly accused him of sending "intimate photographs" and pornographic videos as part of an attempt to woo her.
Zhou, who collaborated with Renner, 54, on a documentary and an animated film, shared a series of allegations on Instagram. She described an incident during a meeting at Renner's home where he became intoxicated and aggressive.
In an exclusive interview, Zhou said Renner "yelled for two hours" after drinking a bottle of wine alone while they were discussing the documentary's logistics. Feeling threatened, she locked herself in the bathroom for safety.
"I had to location share to my team, my parents and Disney colleagues in case something happens to me they know where I am. I had to lock myself in a room to be safe praying he would not come into the room at night as he was really angry. I did not say a word, I was so scared for my life."
Zhou also claimed Renner threatened to "call ICE" after their relationship soured.
