James Overy, a 17-year-old from Manchester United, has been selected for his inaugural senior Socceroos squad. The energetic right-back from Perth will turn 18 this weekend. He impressed at the U20 World Cup with the Young Socceroos and recently signed his first professional contract with the Red Devils. Overy had previously played under-19 football for Scotland before committing to Australia.
Experienced players Jackson Irvine and Riley McGree return after recovering from foot injuries.
