The Supreme Court has heard arguments concerning whether President Trump exceeded his authority by imposing tariffs using the 1977 International Emergency Economic Powers Act. This case questions if the law grants the president the power to set tariffs on products from around the world. As of now, the Court has not issued a ruling.
