Graduate Experiences and Training

Among the new graduates is Ellis Winston, an EMT, who shared his excitement about starting his public service career.

"Excited to get out to the field to be at work and to give back to the community knowing that we are actually going to make an impact," Winston stated.

The recruits completed a rigorous nine-month training that tested both their mental and physical limits. This program emphasized the development of teamwork skills crucial for emergency response.

"We have to learn how to work as a team. There's no individuality here. Coming in as individuals and trying to mesh all into one is tough, but we all make it work and come together," Winston explained.
