Grammy Awards 2026: Main Nominees Announced
The 2026 Grammy Awards nominees were revealed on Friday morning during a live-streamed event hosted by The Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr. The winners will be announced at the Grammy live show at the Crypto.com Arena in Downtown Los Angeles this coming February.
Highlights from the Nomination Event
- Sabrina Carpenter appeared with a new look to present one of the categories.
- Sam Smith performed briefly from the piano.
- Sharon Osbourne and her children announced nominees for Best Rock Album and Best Metal Performance, both previously won by the late Ozzy Osbourne, who passed away this summer.
- Chappell Roan offered supportive words to the Best New Artist nominees, including Addison Rae and Lola Young.
- Doechii presented the Spoken Word and Rap Album categories, featuring GloRilla, Tyler, The Creator, and Kendrick Lamar.
Song of the Year
The Song of the Year category is packed with top artists, including Lady Gaga, Doechii, Bad Bunny, and even the fictional K-pop band from the film "KPop Demon Hunters."
