After a demanding season of 40 tournaments across five continents and 27 nations, the DP World Tour Playoffs are set to begin. The first of the two final stages takes place from November 6 to 9 in the United Arab Emirates.
The opening event, held at Yas Golf Links in Abu Dhabi, gathers the top 70 players on the continental circuit, ranked in descending order. They will compete for a total purse of $9,000,000, with the winner receiving $1,530,000.
All of these players played a key role in Europe’s victory at the 2025 Ryder Cup in Bethpage, New York.
After Abu Dhabi, the top 50 players in the rankings will advance to the DP World Tour Championship in Dubai, running from November 13 to 16. That final event will determine the winner of the European crown and the prestigious Harry Vardon Trophy.
Several high-profile golfers will not participate, including Justin Rose (19th), Matt Wallace (66th), Jon Rahm (59th), Viktor Hovland (66th), and Sepp Straka, who withdrew for personal reasons.
The DP World Tour Playoffs open in Abu Dhabi with elite players vying for major prizes and advancement to Dubai’s finale, defining the 2025 European golf season.
