Inglis Digital, the globally recognized online thoroughbred sales platform, marked a historic achievement when its standout graduate, Half Yours, captured the $10 million G1 Melbourne Cup. The lightly raced gelding impressed early in his career with a strong record of five starts that produced two wins and one second place, establishing him as a rising talent.
Half Yours displayed remarkable improvement over longer distances, notably running from near last to claim a six-length victory at Cranbourne in only his fourth race. This progress hinted at his potential to perform strongly in metropolitan contests across Saturday meetings.
Since his sale, Half Yours has competed in ten races, earning six victories—including major wins in the G1 Melbourne Cup, G1 Caulfield Cup, G3 Naturalism Stakes, and Listed Caloundra Cup—and amassed AU$9.2 million in prize money. His success places him among an elite group, becoming only the 13th horse in history to achieve the Caulfield Cup/Melbourne Cup double.
Half Yours represents one of 112 Group 1-winning Inglis graduates since 2018 and the fourth to secure a top-level title through Inglis Digital, alongside She’s Extreme, Mariamia, and Bella Vella.
