Comstock Metals (NYSE: LODE) has received a Written Determination Permit from the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection (NDEP-BSMM), confirming eligibility for its large-scale solar panel recycling plant in Silver Springs, Nevada.
The plant is designed to process over 3 million solar panels annually, equivalent to approximately 100,000 tons of material each year. Equipment deliveries are scheduled for completion by the end of 2025, with installation, testing, and commissioning planned for the first quarter of 2026.
Comstock Metals received written authorization from the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection for its industrial-scale solar panel recycling facility in Silver Springs, NV, subject to compliance terms and public notice procedures.
The company anticipates receiving its Air Quality permit notice within the upcoming weeks.
