Josh Giddey has made history by becoming only the second Chicago Bulls player, alongside Michael Jordan, to record back-to-back triple-doubles.
The Australian point guard delivered 29 points, 15 rebounds, and 12 assists in a 113-111 comeback victory over the Philadelphia 76ers on November 5. This came just two days after another triple-double performance with 23 points, 12 rebounds, and 12 assists against the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden.
"That's cool, I mean I'm not going to sit here and lie about it and say it's not cool," Giddey said after the win against the 76ers.
"I think all the individual stuff comes as a byproduct of winning and being part of a very, very fun team to play with."
"I'm grateful that I've got teammates and coaches that allow me to be in positions to be successful."
"It's a very, very fun group to play with, I love these guys that I get to go out and compete with and they make my job very easy."
Josh Giddey’s back-to-back triple-doubles highlight his rising star status and strong connection with his team, reflecting his focus on collective success.
