2025 Clemson Athletic Hall of Fame Inductees
Clemson Athletics and IPTAY’s Block C Club have announced the induction of ten distinguished former Tigers into the Clemson Athletic Hall of Fame class of 2025. The honorees will be recognized during the Clemson vs. Florida State game at Memorial Stadium.
Tim Bourret
Sports Information Department (1978–2018)
- Served in Clemson’s sports information department for 40 years — from 1978 to 1989 as assistant director under Bob Bradley, and from 1989 to 2018 as director.
- Inducted into the National College Sports Information Directors Hall of Fame in 2017.
- Received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the College Sports Information Directors Association in 2019.
- Earned the Bobby Richardson Award from the South Carolina Athletic Hall of Fame in 2018.
- Under his direction, Clemson earned the Football Writers Association’s “Super 11” award five times.
- Edited more than 100 award-winning publications for Clemson, including 37 dedicated to football.
- Served on ESPN’s committee for the 150th anniversary of college football.
- In his 47th year broadcasting Clemson men’s basketball, he is regarded as the dean of ACC sportscasters.
- Currently in his 13th season as a football color commentator for Clemson broadcasts.
- Named an honorary alumnus of Clemson University in 2007.
