The No. 9 Harvard football team showcased its strength by defeating the Columbia Lions 31-14 on Friday night in New York City. This victory improves Harvard’s record to 8-0, marking the first time since 2015 the Crimson have started the season with eight consecutive wins.
“This week was a challenging week, short week. A lot of people telling us how great we are in the media and to get the win and get out of here and play how we did in the first half, I'm just relieved and excited to get to the next one,” said Head Coach Andrew Aurich.
With this win, Harvard maintains its lead in the Ivy League standings at 5-0 and reinforces its status as a top contender this season.
