The Executive Cybersecurity Roundtable, themed “Defend, Adapt, Thrive: Cyber Resilience in the Age of Intelligent Threats,” was held today at the Shangri-La Hotel Jakarta. The event brought together over 30 senior leaders, experts, and key stakeholders from Indonesia’s financial, energy, technology, and government sectors.
Organized by SLK, an innovative Indonesia-Malaysia joint venture, the roundtable provided valuable insights into the urgent need to strengthen cyber resilience and digital sovereignty. This is crucial as Indonesia speeds up its digital transformation amid swiftly evolving cyber threats and advancements in artificial intelligence.
Arief Kusuma, an executive involved in digital, UMKM, AI, SLK advisory, and Korika associations, opened the session by stressing that cybersecurity has become a persistent challenge affecting all sectors.
“Today’s challenges make clear the need for all parties to contribute in shaping secure, resilient digital ecosystems,” Kusuma noted.
The roundtable emphasized the importance of collaboration between government, industry, and academia. This synergy is further supported by Korika’s continuous role in orchestrating Indonesia’s National AI Roadmap 2025–2045.
The roundtable reinforced that comprehensive cooperation across sectors is essential to build a secure and resilient digital future for Indonesia amid AI-driven cyber threats.
