Shai Weiss to Step Down as Virgin Atlantic CEO
Virgin Atlantic has confirmed that CEO Shai Weiss is leaving the company, to be replaced by Corneel Koster, currently Chief Customer & Operating Officer.
Corneel Koster, who has previously worked at Delta Air Lines, Aeroméxico, and KLM, will take over on 1st January 2026. He also had an earlier spell at Virgin Atlantic between 2010 and 2013 as Director of Operations, Safety, and Security.
We have a lot of time for Corneel at HfP and we feel that this is a good move for those of us who care about the quality of the airline.
