Influencer Breaks Silence on Affair Rumors with LSU Quarterback Garrett Nussmeier
On November 5, influencer and content creator Peighton Tubre used Instagram to address and deny rumors claiming she was involved in an affair with LSU quarterback Garrett Nussmeier.
The speculation began after an online post alleged that Tubre and Nussmeier were seen entering a hotel room together before one of his games. Tubre, well-known among her more than one million followers for her football commentary, decided to clarify the situation in a video message.
"Recently, there was an article posted on Facebook saying that I was having an affair with Garrett Nussmeier, that we were seen entering a hotel room together the night before one of his games," Tubre said.
Initially, the post had little traction, garnering around 30 likes, so Tubre chose not to respond. She explained her reasoning:
"I was just kind of hoping that it was going to go away and nobody was going to see it."
However, the influencer later added that the rumor spread quickly and her phone began "blowing up" with messages and calls.
Nussmeier and his longtime girlfriend, Ella Springfield, announced their engagement in a joint Instagram post last summer.
