Hundreds of Grand Valley residents attended the Charlie Kirk Legacy Rally at Memorial Park in the Mesa County Fairgrounds on October 11.
“I’m so proud of the community for showing up here,”said Logan Jochim, Vice President for Turning Point CMU. The event was hosted by Turning Point CMU, marking a new chapter for the organization.
The rally honored Charlie Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA (TPUSA), who died after being shot while speaking at a University in Utah on September 10.
“We’ve had a lot of new membership that have been kind of inspired by Charlie Kirk’s legacy,”said Jess Clark-Scott, Secretary for Turning Point CMU.
The event aimed to turn grief into action, with Clark-Scott noting significant growth in the CMU chapter.
