Ally Boertje Re-Signs With The Jets
The Newcastle Jets are excited to confirm that Ally Boertje has extended her contract for the 2025/26 A-League season. A local talent from Newcastle, Ally initially joined the Jets ahead of the 2024/25 season after playing for New Lambton and Warners Bay in the NNSW NPL.
During the 2025 NSW NPL, she was a key player for the Youth Team, making 14 appearances.
“I’m very honoured to be a part of this club again, I loved every moment of the last season. With the Newcastle Jets being my home club, I am very excited to see what the team will bring to the table this season.”
The club expressed their enthusiasm about Ally's return:
“We are extremely happy to have Ally back with us for the upcoming season. She’s a great character and a talented young goalkeeper. I believe that working with Claire Coelho and Anna Leat day in day out will help her make huge strides over the course of the season.”
