Former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski made an impressive debut at the Misfits Boxing event in Nashville, securing a fourth-round knockout victory. The fight showcased the contrast between Arlovski’s long experience and the youth of his opponent, Netflix's “Too Hot to Handle” star Kelechi “Kelz” Dyke.
Arlovski, who first captured the interim UFC heavyweight title in 2005 when his opponent was just 11 years old, demonstrated his superior power and composure early. Despite his age, he controlled much of the bout against the physically imposing Dyke.
This was Arlovski’s third professional fight since leaving the UFC last year. He had previously claimed victories in BKFC and Dirty Boxing by doctor’s stoppage. In Nashville, he opened aggressively, while Dyke surprised many by managing to withstand the early storm and even push Arlovski into defensive moments.
Dyke lasted into the second round, nearly forcing Arlovski to revert to his MMA grappling background. However, the veteran landed a clean right hand later in the round that shifted the momentum in his favor. Although the younger fighter showed toughness, he struggled to match Arlovski’s efficiency.
By the third round, Dyke appeared visibly shaken, and with just over a minute remaining in the fourth, Arlovski connected with a decisive right hand that dropped the Brit instantly.
“Andrei Arlovski proved that experience and precision can outmatch youth and raw power, ending the fight with a textbook right-hand finish.”
