Columbia College Supports Military Students During Government Shutdown
Columbia College has launched a program to aid military students during the government shutdown. The "You Stand For Us, We Stand By You" award is a bridge program that temporarily covers tuition assistance for affected military students.
The program ensures that active-duty servicemembers, reservists, and National Guard personnel enrolled at Columbia College can continue their education without interruption or out-of-pocket costs while their federal tuition assistance remains frozen.

According to Senior Vice President and Provost Dr., the college is committed to supporting military students, stating: "We don’t just market ourselves as military-friendly; we prove it through our actions, especially when it matters most."
