Drivers faced significant delays on the M25 clockwise this morning following an early crash near Junction 7. The incident temporarily slowed traffic between J5 (Sevenoaks) and J7 (M23), with travel times increasing by as much as 30 minutes before returning to normal.
According to Surrey Police, the crash occurred shortly after 6:15 a.m. and involved four vehicles.
“We were made aware of a collision involving four vehicles near J7 of the clockwise carriageway of the M25 shortly after 6.15am this morning. No injuries were reported, and the call was passed to National Highways,” said a police spokesperson.
Surrey Police confirmed that no one was injured in the collision, which was managed quickly with coordination between local authorities and National Highways.
National Highways initially reported delays between J5 and J7 but later confirmed that traffic conditions had normalized.

By mid-morning, the motorway had fully recovered from the disruption, and all lanes were clear.
