This initiative is part of the Single Port Electronic Window system and marks a significant move toward modernizing and digitizing Senegal’s port logistics chain.
The pilot follows the June 3, 2025 signing of the protocol for computerized data exchange (PAD/DGD/DPW/GAINDE 2000), demonstrating the strong commitment of port and customs authorities to streamline port operations through digital means.
The Port Autonomous of Dakar has urged all shipping companies and port operators to take the necessary technical and organizational measures to ensure a smooth transition.
This drive toward digital transformation is set to boost efficiency and competitiveness across the entire port ecosystem.
