Leonardo DiCaprio has shared his favourite Christopher Nolan film in a recent interview, surprising many by naming a different movie than expected. Although the actor worked with Nolan on the 2010 hit Inception, he revealed that his top choice is actually The Dark Knight.
Speaking to Collider alongside his One Battle After Another co-star Benicio del Toro, DiCaprio confirmed that The Dark Knight is the Nolan film he prefers. Del Toro agreed with this choice.
"The Dark Knight is my pick," said DiCaprio, with del Toro sharing his opinion.
Released in 2008, The Dark Knight is the second film in Nolan’s Batman trilogy. The story features Christian Bale’s Batman confronting Heath Ledger’s iconic Joker. The movie has been widely acclaimed and is often regarded as one of the greatest superhero films ever made.
Based on Peter Cameron's 2020 novel, the film follows an American couple who journey to a European town to adopt a baby. After checking into a large, nearly empty hotel, they encounter mysterious residents.
Leonardo DiCaprio admires Nolan’s The Dark Knight as his favourite Nolan film, while preparing for notable new projects including a Heat sequel and a collaboration with Scorsese.
