The second-generation Kia Telluride midsize SUV is bigger, boxier, and could introduce the Telluride's first plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) powertrain. Unlike its predecessor, which was never considered particularly attractive, the new model appears much sharper and more confident.
Most trims feature a partially blanked grille with vertical bars, while the rugged, gold-colored X-Pro trim stands out with a much more aggressive block grille, exposed tow loops, and taller roof rails.
Kia’s new Telluride is "just as sharp and confident as its EV cousin, but has a look that’s all its own – including what might prove to be a very controversial grille."
The full debut with all technical specifications will take place at the LA Auto Show later this month, revealing more about the SUV's performance and innovations.
Kia recently pulled its Tesla Model 3 rival from the US launch despite teasing a disguised version weeks earlier.
