THE BIRD TRILOGY and HORSES Come To Soho Theatre
Edinburgh Comedy Award-nominated comedian and cult clown Elf Lyons will present two of her acclaimed shows at Soho Theatre's Main Theatre this winter, following successful runs at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and beyond. Performances start in December 2025.
The Bird Trilogy (12–20 December 2025)
In the critically praised The Bird Trilogy, Lyons performs three unique shows: Swan, Chiffchaff, and Raven — a riotous trilogy exploring ballet, economics, and horror respectively. Each piece combines Elf’s distinctive style of clowning, mime, and surreal theatre to reinvent these worlds.
Horses (7–10 January 2026)
Horses, created by Elf Lyons and performed by Treacle, comes to Soho Theatre after winning the Sky Arts Comedy Award in 2025. It is the first comedy show ever performed entirely by a horse. The show celebrates the inner child and highlights the power of imagination, play, and pretending, all seen through the perspective of a horse.
