Philippine low-cost carrier Cebu Pacific recently expanded its fleet by receiving its 13th Airbus A330neo aircraft, strengthening its position as the largest A330neo operator in Asia.
The new 459-seat widebody plane arrived at Ninoy Aquino International Airport from Airbus’ Toulouse facility on November 2nd. This is the third of four A330neos scheduled for delivery this year, following arrivals on March 28th and July 18th.
The aircraft enhances the airline’s operational resilience and flexibility, enabling expanded service on regional and long-haul routes. Currently, it operates four weekly flights between Manila and Puerto Princesa. Daily A330neo flights between Manila and Bohol will begin on November 16th.
Cebu Pacific president and chief commercial officer Xander Lao said, “This aircraft enables us to serve more passengers while keeping costs low, which is a key part of our mission to offer affordable fares for everyone.”
The fleet expansion supports Cebu Pacific’s commitment to improving connectivity across the region while maintaining cost efficiency.
