In Gonzaga’s 90-63 victory over Creighton at the McCarthey Athletic Center, Graham Ike achieved a significant career milestone. The 6-foot-9 senior forward, typically known for his dominance near the basket, opened the game with a surprising burst from beyond the arc.
Ike had never made three 3-pointers in a single college game before Tuesday. In just 3 minutes and 6 seconds, he changed that, sinking three triples early in the contest. His first three points came from a 3-pointer, followed quickly by two more. When challenged by a Creighton defender, Ike confidently took and made his third shot.
Those nine points pushed Ike’s career scoring total to 2,000 across 118 games. He entered the game with 1,213 points at Gonzaga and 778 from 46 games at Wyoming. Ike finished the night with 20 points—going 4 for 4 from 3-point range and 8 for 10 overall—and added 10 rebounds, marking his third consecutive double-double.
Before Tuesday, Ike had missed his first four 3-pointers of the season. His performance came with 12 NBA scouts in attendance. He previously made only three 3-pointers in his first two years at Wyoming. Now, Ike has 23 triples at Gonzaga, shooting 38.9% from beyond the arc.
Ike ranks second among active career scorers, behind Tucker DeVries, who has 2,031 points across Drake, West Virginia, and Indiana.
While Ike and Braden Huff are Gonzaga’s headline performers, coach Mark Few has emphasized that the team’s top contributors can shift from game to game. Mario Saint-Supery and Adam Miller also stood out in the win over Creighton.
