Amy Schumer Flaunts 40lb Weight Loss in NYC
Amy Schumer, the 44-year-old comedian, appeared noticeably slimmer during a makeup-free stroll near Central Park in Midtown Manhattan. She credits her transformation to Mounjaro, a popular GLP-1 agonist drug she began using earlier this year to reduce her 5ft 7in frame.
"Amy definitely has lost a lot of weight in the past three months," said functional nutritionist Monica Partier. "She seems to have dropped at least 40lbs and is around 130lbs now, which is very slender for a woman who is 5ft7in. And she looks a lot happier and proud of her improved wellbeing, which is nice to see."
Having undergone liposuction in 2022, Schumer has recently shared selfies showcasing her toned stomach. Her Instagram now features numerous glamorous photos highlighting her new physique.
On April 9, the Emmy-winning producer shared: "I'm loving being on Mounjaro and I haven't found that it's affected anything [side effects wise]."
Previously, Schumer had a difficult experience with Ozempic in 2022, which caused severe nausea and left her bedridden.
