Sunrise Introduces AI-Powered 'SuperSearch' for TV Content Discovery
Swiss telco Sunrise has launched an AI-based voice search function, becoming the first TV provider in Switzerland to offer such a feature.
Called SuperSearch, the new tool allows users to find content with natural voice commands, such as
“Show me films featuring Brad Pitt”.
The system, powered by Google’s Gemini Flash large language model, enables complex, context-driven requests and returns results tailored to each viewer’s preferences.
SuperSearch provides a more intuitive and personalised way to explore entertainment content across live and replay TV, on-demand catalogues, and major streaming services.
