The suspect, from Loos, near Lille in northern France, is the seventh person to be taken into custody. Previously, five Dutch nationals and one Belgian were arrested.

The woman was abducted on her way to work on Wednesday, and her vehicle was found on Friday in Nieuw-Vennep, about ten minutes from her home. She was safely returned to her residence on Sunday evening and is in good health.

According to the police, the abduction was linked to an international dispute among hard-drug criminals, and the woman was used as leverage. The car used in the abduction has also been recovered.
