Gov. Stein Announces Medical Debt Milestone
Governor Josh Stein announced that over $6.5 billion in medical debt has been relieved for more than 2.5 million North Carolinians as part of the state's medical debt mitigation program.

A senior citizen in Greenville, Yolanda Sheppard, expressed her concerns about seniors who avoid seeking care due to fear of new debt.
