Vicky Pattison says therapy 'saved my life, almost' as she opens up about confronting her past

Vicky Pattison on Therapy and Confronting Her Past

Vicky Pattison, the WH cover star, reflects on processing trauma, finding calm, and the benefits of therapy.

She recalls her first therapy session with Nik and Eva Speakman, saying:

I credit them with saving my life, almost.
Within three hours, she had cried and processed loads of her childhood trauma, which became pivotal in who she is now.

Pattison first sought therapy a decade ago, before entering the I'm A Celebrity jungle, when she describes herself as

an angry little ball of Geordie rage
with no accountability. Talking things through forced her to confront what she'd been carrying.

She explains:

Trauma doesn’t go away, you have to unpack it.
This process is ongoing.
