Thunderbirds March Over Pine River-Backus
The Mahnomen-Waubun football team dominated Pine River-Backus in all three facets of the game, remaining undefeated and clinching the top spot in section 8A.
The Thunderbirds started strong, with a 35-point first quarter that propelled them to a 52-0 win. Zach Zima scored a 54-yard rushing touchdown, followed by Tanner Stech's 27-yard touchdown and touchdowns from Manny Johnson and Blake McMullen.
