Boeing and Leonardo Partnership for U.S. Army Contract
Boeing and Leonardo have formed a partnership to pursue the U.S. Army's Flight School Next contractor-owned, contractor-operated (COCO) contract.
Their collaboration, announced on October 13, 2025, at the Association of the U.S. Army (AUSA) Annual Meeting, combines Boeing's experience in Army aviation services with Leonardo's AW119T training helicopter.
- Boeing will provide systems integration, simulation, and program management expertise.
- Leonardo will contribute its mature AW119T platform, already in service.
The partnership will offer a contractor-owned, contractor-operated (COCO) solution designed to deliver an efficient, scalable and high-readiness training system for new Army aviators.
