Storm Aftermath in Mother Lode
The Mother Lode experienced slick roads and debris this morning following overnight rainfall.
- A solo vehicle crash occurred on Highway 26 near Olive Orchard Drive in Valley Springs at 5:40 am with no reported injuries.
- A vehicle went off Highway 49 into a ditch in Calaveras County near the New Melones bridge before 5 am, prompting an ambulance dispatch.
- A vehicle is stuck in the snow 20 feet off Highway 4 between Arnold and Bear Valley, near Skyline Drive.
A minor power outage is affecting a handful of customers near Copperopolis, on Oak Creek Drive, with full restoration expected by 2 pm.
No injuries were reported.
