Storm Damage on Dune Road in Hampton Bays
The South Fork escaped largely unscathed from the nor'easter that swept over Long Island on Columbus Day weekend, except for severe erosion along Dune Road in Hampton Bays.
A sailboat broke free of its mooring and ran aground in North Haven during the storm.
