Furry friends gathered for a fundraiser in Fresno County on Monday at the Belmont Country Club.
The event, which drew over a hundred golfers, aimed to support the no-kill shelter in caring for dogs and cats looking for forever homes.
"It's great to see them, it's really a friendship type thing we get to see everybody get together again and for the perfect cause,"
said Doug Gray, ACT special events coordinator. He added,
"It just brings me a lot of joy and I know we have about 30 volunteers out here today and I know it brings them joy equally as much."
The fundraising goal was $30,000, but organizers estimated that they exceeded this amount thanks to extra donations.
To support the Animal Compassion Team, donations can be made on their website.
