IMF Raises Global Growth Forecast

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has raised its global economic growth forecast for 2025 to 3.2 percent.

This is 0.2 percentage point higher than the July forecast, according to the latest World Economic Outlook report.

Both forecasts are 0.1 percentage point higher than previously projected.

IMF chief economist Pierre-Olivier Gourinchas spoke at a press briefing on the World Economic Outlook in Washington, D.C.
