Multiple airports, including Indianapolis, are refusing to play a video from Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem at security checkpoints.
The video, posted on social media by the White House, features Noem blaming Democrats for the ongoing government shutdown. Law and ethics experts say this violates the Hatch Act.
"It is TSA's top priority to make sure that you have the most pleasant and efficient airport experience as possible while we keep you safe."
Legal experts note that such violations rarely result in serious consequences.
Airports are citing policy violations or illegality as reasons for not playing the video.
