Interested in wildland firefighting with Alberta Wildfire? The WFX-FIT test is an unbiased assessment of a wildland firefighter's ability to meet the demands of the job.
The WFX-FIT is an unbiased, valid and reliable assessment of the ability of wildland firefighters to meet the rigorous demands required to safely and efficiently complete the critical emergency tasks involved in wildland firefighting in Canada.
- Join the open house in Edmonton on October 25 and 26 from 9 am to 3:30 pm at the Edmonton Forestry Warehouse (10725 120 Avenue)
- Talk to staff and view equipment
- Check back for additional open house dates, times, and locations
- Sign up beforehand to guarantee a spot for fitness testing
