£100m Upgrade to Southern Trains Completed
A £100million refurbishment of Southern trains has been completed at the Selhurst depot.
More than 300 commuter trains operating out of Victoria Station have undergone repairs and upgrades to extend their life by 15 years.
- 304 Southern trains have been modernized
- The fleet includes Electrostar trains used for the Gatwick Express
- Most trains have received a new paint job and re-covered seats
The project has been conducted over the past five years at Southern's depot at Selhurst.
