Pinto Nets Shootout Winner to Lead Senators Past Kraken 4-3
Shane Pinto scored the shootout winner as the Ottawa Senators snapped their three-game losing streak with a 4-3 win over the Seattle Kraken.
Dylan Cozens tied the game 3-3, beating Philipp Grubauer low glove side with 1:46 remaining in regulation. Chandler Stephenson scored a power-play goal early in the third to give the Kraken a 3-2 lead.
Ottawa, playing the first of a four-game homestand, gave up the first goal for the fifth straight game. Shane Wright scored early in the first period, getting his own rebound and backhanding it past Linus Ullmark.
