Stellantis and Pony.ai Partner for Robotaxi Development in Europe
Stellantis and Pony.ai have signed a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to accelerate the development and deployment of robotaxi solutions in Europe.
The collaboration will integrate Pony.ai's autonomous driving software with Stellantis' medium-size van AV-Ready Platform to deliver safe and efficient urban mobility solutions.
- Initial testing will focus on light commercial vehicle applications.
- Test vehicles based on the Peugeot e-Traveller model will be deployed in Luxembourg, followed by a rollout across European cities starting in 2026.
The goal is to deliver "safe, scalable and efficient urban mobility solutions".
