The company will bring 60 new jobs and invest $5.3 million to move its research and development operations to Greene County.
A California-based manufacturing company, Judco Manufacturing, has chosen to relocate its headquarters to Snow Hill, a small town in Greene County.
“That’s great news,” said John Hunt, a Greene County resident. “I think it’s important for growth. I mean, anytime a company comes in and wants to invest in a county.”
Judco Manufacturing, a third-generation family-owned company, will occupy a building on Carolina Drive in Snow Hill, bringing new opportunities to the area.
As stated by a resident, "Growth is good" and this move is expected to have a positive impact on the community, providing an alternative to spending money in nearby cities like Kinston, Goldsboro, or Greenville.
The move was announced by Gov. and is expected to bring significant investment and job creation to the area.
