Cast your mind back to a simpler time, before the internet and smartphones dominated our lives. Back then, social interactions were face-to-face, and entertainment was more tangible. It was an era when Punk music thrived, and New Romantic bands filled the airwaves on Top of the Pops.

When I joined the RAF in late 1980, my first posting was to Hendon, one of the oldest and most haunted RAF stations in the country. Growing up in Lincolnshire, I had limited experience with city life, but Hendon's proximity to London offered a wealth of cultural attractions, including museums, galleries, and cinemas.

My fascination with the paranormal began in childhood. At the age of six, while staying with my grandmother, I had a strange encounter: a boy emerged from her Victorian wardrobe, dressed in britches, stockings, and boots.
