Halifax App and Online Banking Down
Halifax users are reporting that the bank's app and website are down, leaving them unable to access their accounts.
Problems started being reported just before 9am, with almost 4000 issues being reported, according to Downdetector, a website that tracks service outages.

A user also tweeted about the issue, saying
@HalifaxBank App is not workingand shared a screenshot.
Downdetector describes itself as "where people go when services don’t work" and only reports incidents when the number of problem reports is significantly higher than usual.
Halifax has been approached for comment on the issue.
