Unsafe La Manga Buildings Torn Down
Demolition has begun on unsafe shopping galleries in La Manga del Mar Menor as part of San Javier Council's efforts to revitalise the area.
The buildings, located next to the Hotel AluaSun Doblemar, were declared unsafe four years ago. The San Javier Town Council has now started demolition work to improve the area's appearance and make better use of the space for future development.
“With this work, we continue to restore important areas of La Manga and improve its urban environment,”
said Mayor José Miguel Luengo, highlighting the council's commitment to creating safer and more attractive public spaces.
The project is part of the town's ongoing efforts to revitalise key parts of La Manga.
