Starring Ashton James, the film 'Boxcutter' tells the story of an aspiring rapper in Toronto.

The movie follows Rome, played by Ashton James, as he tries to make it big in Toronto's hip-hop scene despite his insecurity. When he learns that megastar producer Richie Hill will be attending a local club, Rome sees an opportunity to meet him and get his album noticed.
- Rome's apartment is burglarized, and his only album copy is stolen.
- He races across the city with his friend Jenaya to track down his collaborators and records before the show.
